Ho Train Scenery

  This project is a work in progress. What you see posted here so far has taken over two years to create. The layout scale is 1:87 (HO) and is taken directly from actual location scenes from the middle of
New Mexico. This double decked layout measures 25’ X 36’ or 875 sq. ft. The mountains are made from chicken wire, foam board and plaster sheets. Real sand and dirt was used for added realism, all shrub brushed, trees
and bushes are hand made as well as all buildings and structures.

"To get the viewer's eye to rest at the larger more colorful structure in the left foreground while creating a sense of distance, I painted the foreground to the background hoping to express a landscape composition which express's appreciation for an environment".
